THE GEOGRAPHICAL. RELATIONSHIP OF ITALY AND ALBANlA.—Possession, of Albania is of considerable strategical importance to Italy, giving her complete control of the Adriatic Sea and placing Yugoslavia at a tactical disadvantage. Yugoslavia’s sea commonications now lie through completely Italian waters. With Germany’s possession of Czecho-Slovakia an encirclement has been commenced by the Axis Powers of Yugoslavia, Rumania, and Bulgaria. The bombed towns of Albania are shown on the map.
