ITALIAN ACTION IN ALBANIA CHARGE D'AFFAIRES ASSURES LORD HALIFAX (British Official Wireless'.) RUGBY, April 9. (Received April 10, at noon.) Lord Halifax saw the Greek Minister in the morning and the Italian Charge d’Affaires (Signor Crolla) three times in the course of the day. In these interview with Signor Crolla,- which, it may be assumed, resulted from certain disquieting reports regarding the general situation following Friday’s Italian initiative, Lord Halifax left Signor Crolla' in no doubt as to the serious view taken by Britain of the Italian action in Albania, as well as to the strength of British feeling on the subject. ■ Signor Crolla gave Lord Halifax an assurance in firm categorical terms regarding the strictly limited character of the Italian action in Albania. ’ Due note was taken by Lord Halifax of this assurance, the terms pf. which have been made known to Lord Perth. ALBANIAN MINISTER IN ROME LONDON, April 9. (Received April 10, at 8 a.m.) A communique issued in Rome announced that the Albanian Minister (M. Sereggi) has resigned on the ground that' it is. impossible to continue to serve a regime openly violating ’the italo-Albanian pact and-failing to serve the interests of the people. The, communique also ‘states that a group of prominent Albanians recently appealed to Italy to save tho country from disorder, corruption, and dissolution, and offered the, crown to King Emmanuel. PROTEST TO GERMANY BERLIN, April 9. (Received April 10, at 8 a.m.) The Albanian Minister has protested to Germany. INDIGNATION IN MOROCCO CASABLANCA, April 8. (Received April 10, at 8 a.m.) Meetings held throughout Morocco expressed tho greatest indignation at Italy’s attack on Albanian Moslems. It was stated that a great gulf separates Islam and Italy. GREEK AND POLISH MINISTERS RECEIVED BY M. BONNET PARIS, April 9.
