The semi-finalists in the Taranaki amateur championship are D. V. Sutherland. B. Lobb, T., A. Thomson, and J. Holden, all of Taranaki. The only two outside players to qualify, J. S. Rutherford (Hutt) and J. W. Morrison (Auckland), were eliminated in the second round. CHISHOLM PARK CLOD A Stableford Bogey Match over 18 holes for trophies presented by Mr A. C. Anderson was played on Saturday. The winner was li. Riddell, with the good card of 23—15—38. and the run-ner-up was L. Gore, with a score of 22 —15—37. Other good cards were those, of G. Burns 239 —35, N. Simpson 17 —18—35, D. Sime 26—9—35, H. Mexted 16—18—34, L. Wood 21—12—33, J. Aubin 20—12—32, L. M'Cutcheou 14_18—32, A. Laing 22—9—31, T. Anderson 14—17—31, D. Morgan 15— 15—30, R. Hine 13—17—30. ST. CLAIR LADIES' CLUB The Canadian Foursomes Match played on the Corstorphine links was won by Mrs Myles and Mrs W. Read (18), all square. There will be no match played to-morrow, a StapleforJ Bogey being the fixture for Thursday. Post entries will be received.
