PROMOTIONS ANNOUNCED [1 J EU UNi IED PKtSS AsSOCIaJ'IOJU.) WELLINGTON, March 28. Promotions among court officers consequent upon recent retirements were announced by Mr T. Mark, Public Service Commissioner, to-day. Air G. S. Clark, registrar of the Supreme Court, Hamilton, has been appointed registrar of the Supreme Court, Wellington, in place of Air AV. W. Samson, who is retiring at the end of this month. Air E. G. Rhodes, deputy-registrar of the Supreme Court, AVellington, is to he registrar of the Supreme Court at Gisborne. Air P. ,D. Leahy, deupty-registrar of the Supreme Court, Christchurch, is to be deputy-registrar of the Supreme Court, AVellington. Air A. E. Reynolds, clerk of the Magistrate’s Court, AVellington, is to be registrar of the Supreme Court, Hamilton. Mr J. T. A. Beaumont, clerk of the Supreme Court, AVellington, is to bo second clerk and deputy-registrar of the Supreme Court, Palmerston North. Mr A. I;. Tresidder, registrar of the Supremo Court, Nelson, is to be clerk of the Alagistrate’s Court. AVellington. Air A. J. Bennetts, second clerk of the Alagistrate’s Court, Christchurch, is to bo registrar of the Supreme Court, Blenheim. Air AV. Parker, registrar of the Supreme Court, AVestport, is to be registrar of the Supeme Court, Nelson. Air C. O. Pratt, clerk of the Alagistrate’s Court, Hawera, is to be registrar of the Supreme Court, AVanganui. Air A. R. C. Claridge, second clerk of the Alagistrate’s Court and deputyregistrar of the Supreme Court, Palmerston North, is to be clerk of the Magistrate’s Court, Hawera. Mr F. S. R. Knight, clerk of the Magistrate’s Court and acting registrar of the Supreme Court. Auckland, is to be registrar of the Supreme Court, Auckland. Air H. V.
