H INCHES IK 4S HOURS [Per United Press Association.] DARGAVILLE, January 31. Record rainfall figures for Dargaville for the past 18 years were registered for the 24 hours ending Monday morning, 4.53 in, and to this morning, 5.14 in, a total of 9.67 in in 48 hours. The rain was soft and gentle, and no damage is recorded. Following the lengthy dry spell, the water was practically absorbed as it fell.
