PROBABLE CAUSE OF DISEASE AMERICAN DOCTOR'S DISCOVERY Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, January 2G. The Milwaukee correspondent of the United Press says that Dr William Doern, a physician at the local Mercy Hospital, announced to the hospital staff the discovery of a micro-organism which “ is the probable cause of cancer.”- The discovery is the culmination of research begun in 1932. The microorganism has a special . affinity to the sex cells in both animals and plants, and with cultures of this micro-or-ganism malignant tumours in more than 100 animals were produced.
