TOWN HALL DANCE
The popularity of the Town Ha'll dance was demonstrated last Saturday night, when the attendance again exceeded 900. Next Saturday night there will bo a Yam competition, and the following Saturday will see the commencement of a Lambeth Walk competition. Patrons are reminded of the gala opening of the Town Hall dance “ Dancing School ” on Monday night, when, from 7 to 9, a learners’ session will be given. From 9 to 11 there will be a dance with Mr Alex Swann’s band supplying the music and Mr James MacFarlano as the vocalist. Masks, paper liat.s. and novelties of all description will be distributed. The principals of the dancing .school will ho Mr Jack llobinson and Miss Petty Anderson.
