TO CORRESPONDENT.
" Reader." —Shangri-La is written thus. It is found in the book 'The Lost Horizon.' Reference to authorities does not • disclose its meaning, but by the manner in which the author has used it, it is the name of some place, but here again no definite information is available. More than likely it is a fictitious name. Writing of Tibet the author speaks of the Lamasery of Shangri-La.
