WOMAN TO PRESIDE FOR FIRST TIME (British Official Wireless.) Press Association— Bv Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, December 20. For the first time in its history the Loudon County Council next year, which is its jubilee year, will be presided over by a woman. The Labour Party has decided to nominate Mrs Eveline M. Lone who has been a member of the County Council since 1922.
