CHRISTMAS ATTRACTIONS
FIXtURES FOR HOLIDAY PERIOD Although many Dunedin residents will be absent from the city over the holiday period, those remaining and visitors to Dunedin have still to be catered for, and quite a variety of attractions have been provided in the city and close at hand. The Dunedin Jockey Club races will bo one of the main attractions, being listed for Monday arid Tuesday. The Dunedin Centre's Christmas pairs howling tournament will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and other holiday attractions include the Gore trots, Macandrew Bay regatta, appearance of the Australian athletes at Roxburgh and Alexandra, and the Waikouaiti and Oamarn races. The list of fixtures is given below;—
DECEMBER 24. North Otago tennis tournament, at Oamant.
DECEMBER 26. D.J.C. races, at Wingatui. Gore trots. Macandrew Bay regatta. Appearance of Australian athletes at Roxburgh sports.
Dunedin Centre’s Christmas pairs bowling tournament. Alexandra Bowling Club’s tournament. North Otago tennis tournament, at Oamaru.
