FUNDS FOR PLAYGROUND
WOOL WORKERS' ACHIEVEMENT [Ter United Press Association.) AUCKLAND, December 21. Speaking at a social function of the New Zealand Wool pack and Textiles Company Ltd. to-day, Mr F. W. Vickennan, managing director, conveyed to the employees the congratulations of the Minister of Industries and Commerce (Mr Sullivan) on their fine effort m raising funds for the provision of a playground" for the children of Foxton. Mr Vickerman also announced that tho directors had every confidence in the expansion of the works during the coming year. _ Visitors present included Mr J. T Gailey. of Belfast, and Mr Melville Wright, High Commissioner’s office. London. Mr Wright congratulated the employees on the very line product now being turned out and on the progress maintained. He expressed the opinion that the success of the enterprise was assured.
