Bundle, S.M., gave judgment for plaintiff by default in the civil case, North Otago Farmers’ Co-operative Association v. J. Paulson, £4 4s 4d and costs (£1 6s 6d). On a judgment summons, M. Henry was ordered to pay Rose Arscott £2 6s 6d and costs (13s), in default three days’ imprisonment. WARDEN’S COURT. At the Oamaru Warden’s Court yesterday, the Maerewhenua Goldfields Development Company Ltd. \va» granted a license for a water race of six heads, terminating in Golden Gully, until February 8, 1959.
