GERMANS ABROAD

COMMANDS BY THE NAZIS The " ten commandments ” which Germans living in foreign lands are instructed to follow by the Nazi Organisation for Germans Living Abroad have been issued in the official “ schooling letter ” to which most Germans must subscribe, writes Sigrid Schultz from Berlin to the ‘Chicago Tribune.’ They prescribe for tho Gorman “ national 1 comrade ” a course which Adolf Hitler’s Government expects him to follow while he is a “ guest in a foreign land.” Tho commandments follow: 1. Obey the laws of the country in which you are a guest. 2. Leave the politics of your host country to its inhabitants. The internal politics of a foreign country are no business of yours. Take no part in them, even in conversation. 3. Proclaim yourself always and everywhere as a party (Nazi) member. 4. Speak and act in such a manner that you may do honour to the Nazi movement and the new Germany. Bo diligent, honest, fearless, and loyal. 5. Sec in every German abroad your national comrade, a man of your blood, character, and kind. Give him your hand without regard for his social standing. AVe are ■ all “workers” of our nation. 6. Help your German comrades from the heart and without being asked if they are in trouble through no fault of their own. 7. Be not only a member of our movement, but a fighter in the foremost ranks. Inform yourself exactly of the character, goal, and essence of our movement. 8. Campaign and fight day after aay to induce every honest German to join our movement. Convince him of the superiority and righteousness of our movement and of the necessity for our victory, so that Germany may continue to live. Fight with spiritual weapons. . 9. Read our party organ, our periodicals, and our books. 10. Join the party members in your town. If there is a district group, be a disciplined and active member. Not only must you avoid quarrels, but try with all your powers to smooth out impending conflicts. tions. 11.30: Recorded music. 12: Daily broadcast service. 12.1 o: Close down. 2: Time signal.
