(Received December 2, at 1.5 p.m.) At the wool sales 9,704 bales were offered, including 4,112 from New Zealand, and 7,919 were sold. There was a fairly good selection, but the demand somewhat subsided and was confined chiefly to the home trade. Prices generally were par to 5 per cent, lower compared with the close of last series.
