The Ha mhurg-Aiucrika steamer Nauinburg arrived at Auckland from Port Piri'e, South Australia, on Wednesday morning. She will remain at anchor in the stream there until December 10, when she will begin loading wool ami general cargo ior Dunkirk, Antwerp, Bremen, and Hamburg. She will complete loading at Napier and Wellington, and sail finally on December 19. LARGE OIL TANKER. With a carrying capacity of about 21,340 lons deadweight., a tanker has been ordered by the C-ie. Navalc des Petrolcs. of Paris, from the Ponhoet vard. She will be a sister ship to the Id mil o Aliguet (14,11.5 tons gross), which was placed in commission by the same company last year. The machinery for the new ship will comprise two foiir-stroko B. and W. type engines of 7.260 I lorsc-power. Tho normal service speed will be 13 knots, but the vessel is expected to be capable of a speed of 14 knots to 15 knots in light trim. FOG OUTSIDE HEADS. Fog outside Taiaroa Heads this morning prevented the Union Steam Ship Company’s vessel AVaikouaiti from berthing, but it was expected that she would negotiate the channel this afternoon. The Associated Motorists’ tanker Deduin was also delayed for the same reason. PORT SYDNEY TO LOAD. The Port Lino advises that the Port Sydney lias been partly allotted to load for London. She is due at Timaru on December 22, and from there proceeds to Opua, Auckland, and AVaikokopu. Her remaining loading ports and final departure date are not yet fixed. TONGARIRO LEAVES NEW YORK. The New Zealand Shipping Company has received cabled advice that the Tongariro, under charter to the A. and A. Lino, left New York on November 24 and Newport News on November 27 for Auckland, Napier, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Duuodiii. She is duo at Auckland on December 27, and at Wellington on January 4.
