A CHRISTMAS PARTY
A Christmas party arranged by Mrs J. Dey w T as held under the auspices of the Patients and Prisoners’ Aid Society at Talboys Home on Tuesday afternoon. The party rendered several Christmas carols, and the following contributed solos:-—Mrs Matson, Mrs Dey, Mrs M'Dougall, and Miss M'Arthnr. Elocutionary items were given hy Miss Kirkham. Sweets and cakes were provided for the inmates. Mr Steven, agent for the society, expressed thanks to Mrs Dey and to those who had assisted her.
