[A previous message stated: “ The Berlin correspondent, of the British United Press learns that Sir Oswald Mosley was married on December 4, 1937, to Diana, sister of Unity Mitlord, in the reception room at Herr Hitler’s private offices in the Fuhrer Building at Munich. Herr Hitler was best man, and the Lord Mayor of Munich, Herr Karl Fiehler, solemnised the marriage and filed the certificate privately at the City Hall. The next day official quarters in Berlin emphatically denied that Herr Hitler acted as best man at the wedding which was supposed to have taken place on Munich between Sir Oswald Mosley and Miss Diana Mitford.
