KYEEMA AIR CRASH
INQUIRY CONCLUDED > Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright MELBOURNE, November 30. The Kyeema air crash inquiry, which lasted 23 days, closed to-day. The transcript of the evidence occupies 1,500 pages. Mr E. G. Coppel, for the Civil Avia* tion Board, said that the delay in purchasing plane test beacons was the responsibility of the Federal Government. There had been no delay in the manufacture of beacons, and the installation had not been hindered except for tho provision of a building, which was tho responsibility of the Department of the Interior. The board had gone as far as it could to stir that department into activity. The delay in the provision of buildings was a handicap but for which the whole story might have been different. *
