MR PIROW’S TOUR
QUESTIONS IN THE HOUSE OF COMMONS MR MACDONALD EXPLAINS POSITION I ’ (British Official Wireless.) Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, November 29. (Received November 30, at noon.) Replying to a question in the House of Commons on Mr Pirow’s continental tour, Mr MacDonald' said, “ I have no doubt that when Mr Pirow returns to this country he will give us information about these various conversations in Europe, but members are under a misapprehension. They seem to suppose that some negotiations are proceeding between Mr Pirow and Herr Hitler. As I said previously I am not aware of -any such negotiations having taken place.” Mr MacDonald pointed out that Mr Pirow’s falks were personal, not official, on behalf of the Union Government.
