£47,580,000 protection forWACE-EARNERS Building up Security with A.M.P. Industrial Policies INDUSTRIAL Assurance is that form of Life Assurance under which premiums are collected weekly, fortnightly, or monthly by Agents at the homes or places of business of the policyholders. The benefits of Life Assurance are thus brought to the very doors of the people (principally the wageearners) who have thus been educated to realise the comfort of A.M.P. protection in the battle of life. At 31st December last A.M.P. Industrial policies in force numbered 783,141, representing a total Sum Assured, with Bonus additions, of £47,580,000. This huge amount of protection would never have been built up by the members without the regular collecting service provided by the Society. It is this service that has given the wage-earners of Australia and New Zealand the opportunity to put their foresight and thrift to such splendid use. The following actual result, showing the return to a policyholder from an A.M.P. Industrial policy is a striking example of the value of such contracts. In 1918 a young man aged 17 years assured his life under an Industrial policy for £96, payable at the end of 20 years, or in the event of his previous death, for a premium of 2/-, payable weekly. The 20-year period terminated recently when the Sum Assured and Bonuses amounting to £123/5/3 were paid over to him on the day the policy matured. This was 181 per cent, more than he had paid in, and he had enjoyed the assurance protection for 20 years. If he had died during the 20-years period, his dependents would have received the amount of the policy in full with bonuses added. If your income is small, welcome the A.M.P. man when he calls to help you build up a nest egg. Use the Society to the full.
