POSTER COMPETITION
THE TERRITORIAL AWARDS [Per United Press Associatjon.l WELLINGTON, November 29. The results of the recent poster com. petition organised to popularise Territorial training were announced by army headquarters to-day. The competition was divided into two sections, as follows:—A section (first prize sgs, second 2gs, third Ign), open only to serving members of the New Zealand military forces, for a suggestion or a design for a poster conveyed by rough sketch, but not intended to be suitable for direct reproduction; B section (first prize lOgs, second sgs, third £2 10s), for an open entry from members of the general public and military forces, and calling for a finished design in colour suitable for direct reproduction, with, the maximum of sis colours. The awards are as follows: — Section A. Second-lieutenant E, M'Ara, Ist Battalion, Wellington Regiment, City of Wellington’s Own, 1;! Corporal D. G. M‘Nab, 2nd Field Company, New Zealand Engineers, Napier, 2; Sergeant J. K. Welch, C Company, Ist Battalion, Hawke’s Bay Regiment, Mastertou, 3. Section B.—E. O. Chapman and i>. Clark (equal) 1. P. Moore-Joucs 3. All three are of Wellington.
