CHRISTOPHER.—On November 11, 1938, at her residence, Kennedy street, St. Clair, Mary, beloved wife of Frederick Phillip Christopher, and youngest daughter of the late Alexander and Mary Simpson, formerly of “ Cheviot House,” Puerua. Deeply mourned.—The Funeral will leave the residence To-morrow (Sunday), the 13th inst., at 2 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery.—C. J. Thorn Ltd., funeral directors, DILLON.—On November 11, 1938, at the residence of her daughter (Mrs Warden Wilson), 4 Albert street, St. Glair, Mary, beloved wife of the- late Michael (Jack) Dillon (late of Port Chalmers); aged 77 years. “At rest” —The Funeral will leave the residence on Sunday, 13th inst., at 3 p.m., for the Anderson’s Bay Cemetery. —R. M’Lean and Son,,funeral directors. ELLIOTT—On November 11, 1938, at Christchurch, Anne Murcott, dearly loved youngest daughter of H. J. and Olive Elliott, of 169 King Edward street. HOWELL.—On November 9, at a private hospital, Wellington, Emily M., widow of the late Mr James Howell, 98 Musselburgh Rise, Dunedin. —Interment at Anderson’s Bay Cemetery on Monday, 14th inst., at 2 p.m. KNOX.—On November 12, 1938, at her residence, James street, Balclutha, Elizabeth, beloved wife of the late James Knox; aged 72 years.—Friends' are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral, which will leave the above residence on Monday, the 14th inst., at 3 p.m., for the Balclutha Cemetery.—W. Lovie, undertaker. SPINKS.—On November 11, 1938 (accidentally), at Palmerston, Allan Trevor, beloved son of William and Winifred Spinks, 20 Waterloo street, St. Kilda; in his 22nd year.
