DE LUXE SKATING RINK
To-night's attractions at the new De Luxe rink, Filleul street, opposite the Town Hall, include the final of the Otago quarter-mile championship, whe'n the New Zealand champion, R. Blair, will be seen in competition against L. Napper. ; The final of the Otago twostep championship will also be decided to-night. The new Monte Carlo, ‘ Krazee,’ will again be featured, as well as the new ‘ Mystery Train ’ number. . The programme will embrace gliding, waltzing, two-step, barn dance, Paul Jones, figure eight fours, Twilight, and reverse partners and trios. The rink is open from 10.30 a.m. daily, with special learners’ session between 5.30 and 6.45 p.m. Competent instructors are in attendance at all sessions. A “Joy ” night is being held next Saturday, when paper hats, streamers, snowballs, and various novelties of every shape arid size will assist in making the evening a carnival of fun. Seats and skates may be reserved.
