IN GOOD ORDER

STATE OF BEACHES TEMPERATURES IMPROVING The temperature of the water at the local seaside resorts is becoming much milder, and although still a trilie fresh it requires only line weather over the week-end to attract many bathers to the beaches. The St. Clair Beach is in good order ; the sea is smooth, and while there is a slight channel fairly close to the shore, merely reasonable precautions are required to ensure perfectly safe bathing. , , .... St. Kilda is also in good condition. There are no holes on the beach, but slightly further out there is a slight rip towards St. Clair. There is a very slight sea running at Tomahawk, where the beach is in good oredr. Tomahawk has already proved very popular this year.
