TOWN HALL DANCE
CONTEST FINAL To-morrow evening the final of tho Town Hall dancing championship will be held. The winners will leave New Zealand on December 5 to compete for further honours in the grand £550 Australasian dancing championship, to be held in Melbourne on December 12. Rarely before has competition dancing created such public interest as in this case. The standard of dancing is extremely high, and those who witness the final contest should be treated to a highlight of entertainment. Last year the judging was done by public vote, but this did not altogether meet with the approval of a section of the community, and tor this reason the management has engaged an outside judge for the final this year—Miss F. M‘Donald, A.1.5.T.D., of Oamaru. The winners will be announced by Dr D. G. M'Millan, M.P., and it is expected that the result will be known by about 10.45. Intending spectators are advised to book their seats, arrangements for which are advertised.
