PROPOSAL FOR NEW OIL BERTH.—The question of. sites for the extension of bulk oil installations was discussed at last evening’s meeting of the Otago Harbour Board. This air view shows the areas at present occupied by the oil companies and the vacant sections adjoining, the arrow indicating Black Jack’s Point, which was recommended as a site for a new oil berth. (See report, page 13). The cross shows where the foundation stone of the new Training College will be laid to-morrow by the Minister of Education (Hon. P. Fraser).
