(Received October 28, at 8 a.m.) After blowing up half a dozen houses at Miar the authorities intimated that punishment would cease if 10 rifles were surrendered within an hour, but they were not forthcoming. The. local Arab leader threatened that if there was further damage he would lead 800 to the attack. , _ , , Battalions of the Royal Kents and the Irish Fusiliers located and , surrounded a large body of rebels in a cave. BODY OF ARAB LEADER FOUND JERUSALEM, October 27. (Received October 28, at 1 p.m.) The body of the well-known Arab poet and rebel leader, Ibrahim Abdullah, was found at Tamra. Nearby were three rifles, two pictols, a banner, and important documents. It is presumed that he was killed in the mopping up operations east of Haifa on October 25.
