Charged with the theft of £173 in bank notes from a fellow-worker, William Henry Moseley, a New Plymouth waterside worker, pleaded not ■ guilty at the conclusion of the evidence this morning, and was committed for trial, bail being allowed. Moseley allegedly picked up a roll of notes belonging to John Shore, and when later accosted by Shore denied that he had the money. The notes were missed by Shore following a game in the watersiders’ shelter.
