FORESTERS
The fortnightly meeting of Court Enterprise was held in the court room, Unity Chambers, C.ll. Bro. G. Benfell presiding. The woodwards report was very satisfactory considering the amount of sickness at the present. An invitation was received from Court Little John to its banquet on October .3, C.B. Bro. G. Benfell and S.C 11,. Bro. Stevenson being appointed to represent the court. A letter of thanks was received from Bro. Norman Stewart. P.C.U. reported on his visit to Court Pride of Leith. He also reported that P.D.C.R. Bro. W. Ibbotsqn and Bro. Stan. Wills were improving in health. Thu following were nominated
for the various offices:—C.R., Bro. Stevenson; S.C.R., Bro. Lancaster; treasurer, P.C.R. Bro. Jas. Dey; secretary, P.C.R. Bro. W. M. Hogg; S.W., Bro Watson; J. W., Bro. J. Wright; 5.8., Bro. Leitch; minute secretary, P.C.R. Bro. S. B. Brettell. The offices of J. 8., auditors, and trustee will be filled at the next meeting. The secretary was instructed to write to P D C.R. Bro. R. Vercoe asking him to install the officers on September 27. Three propositions were received for next court night. It was decided to make a presentation to P.C.R. Bro. 1). Mercer, he having served as C.R. for a second term.
