GERMAN BALANCE OF TRADE
ASTONISHING IMPORT SURPLUS Press Association-By Telegraph-Copyright BERLIN, September 16. (Received September 17, at 11.55 a.m.) The German balance of trade (including Austria) showed an astonishing import surplus of 64,500,000 marks, approximately £5,500,000 at the present rate of exchange. The exports for the whole of Germany fell by £2,000.000 compared with July.
