TRADE WITH BALKANS
DEVELOPMENT BY BRITAIN DIFFICULT TREATY NEGOTIATIONS. Press Association—By Telegraph—OopynghLONDON, July 27. (Received July 28, at 12.10 p.m.) The British Government is moving towards development of trade with the Balkans through a series of treaties. The Balkans’ find difficulty in selling to Germany and Italy because they receive only blocked currencies, and are anxious to expand with Britain, where a free currency is operative and also where, capital is available. It is emphasised that negotiations are difficult in view of the differing conditions in each Balkan country.
