JAPAN AND AUSTRALIA
TRADE AGREEMENT SIGNED TO REMAIN IN FORCE FOR ONE YEAR. Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright CANBERRA, July 4. (Received July 4, at 11.45 a.m.) The trade agreement between Japan and Australia has been signed, and will remain in force for a year. Japan will take from 350,000 to 400,000 bales of Australian wool next season. Staple fibre piece goods are included in the import quotas of Japanese cotton piece goods, and artificial silk piece goods.
