CHESAPEAKE PIE cups flour. 3 teaspoons baking powder. J teaspoon salt, J pint oysters. 8 small pork sausages. 1 tablespoon shortening. Method: Sift together the dry ingredients; cut in the fat. Dram the oysters, chop and add to the first mixture. Mix with 5 cup of oyster juice, or part milk if necessary. Spread in a greased, shallow dish. Prick the sausages and place on top. Bake in a hot oven—400deg F.—till the sausage is done; J to i hour.
