Mauder (Liberal) asked the Prim* Minister (Mr Chamberlain) whether he would consider the publication of a White Paper giving the test of the speech made by the New Zealand High Commissioner (Mr W. J. Jordan) in League discussions on Spain, as the speech embodied the fact that the Imperial viewpoint was different from the British Governments. The Under-Secretary for Foreign Affairs (Mr R. A. Butler) replied that the test of the speech would appear in due course in the League of Nations Journal, in which members could study it.
