CAPTAIN AUTEH’S VISIT CPbb United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, May 13. An interesting traveller to New Zealand and Australia on the Monterey was Captain Harold Auten, V.C., who when he stepped up to the dais to receive the Victoria Cross from King George V. after the war, was greeted by the band playing ‘ Hush, Hush, Here Comes the Bogy Man.’ _ _ He won the honour in British Q-ships. He is now manager in America for British motion picture interests.
