STUDENTS ENTERTAIN

GAPPING CONCERT Invariably one of the brightest entertainments of the year is the Capping concert, and the large audience at Mis Majesty’s Theatre last evening thoroughly enjoyed the amusing ana well-varied fare presented by the students. The show contains a good mixture of amusing interludes and sketches, and the topical note struck by the sextet is again one of the outstanding features. ‘ itching Moments ’ is a particularly diverting farce, and ‘ Falling Prices ’ is a clever farce, containing humour and deft satire. The sextet provided up-to-the-minute comments on local happenings and personalities, and the interludes were also brightly presented. The staging of the performance is deserving of mention, and so is the work of the orchestra, under the baton of Mr James Clark. Another performance will bo given to-night, and the final presentation tomorrow night.
