'AS YOU LIKE IT'

The Dunedin Shakespeare Club never fails to delight the large audiences which invariably patronise its readings. In presenting that ever-popular and charming comedy, *As You Like It,’’ the club feels that its decision will be a popular one. ‘As You Like It ’ provides such a wealth of originality in characterisation and such delightful comedy scenes that it is little wonder that the play is always amongst the most favoured of the club’s presentations. The reading is to be held in the Town Hall Concert Chamber on Thursday evening. Amongst the reader* taking part are Mesdames M. Skipworth, L. Withers, and E. J. Murray, Misses V. Jefferson, S. V. Seelen, and M. Eagar, Messrs H. W. Hunter, N. M'Kinlay, R. Herbert, J. W. Hayward, A. F." Lanyon, B. E. Dickinson, I. Templeton, W. B. Quennell, C, Howell, S. E.- Mee, and D. C. Rose. Miss Dora Drake will be the soloist. The box plan arrangements are advertised.
