FRICTION IN INDIAN STATE LONDON, April 24. A revolt has broken out in Sikar, a small feudatory State of Jaipur. The Maharaja of Jaipur, who married “ Ranji’s ” niece, decided to take with him on his forthcoming visit to England the of Sikar, who formerly was his heir-apparent. The Rajah of Sikar protested unavailingly, and has collected thousands of armed men and has closed his gates. The Jaipur authorities are preparing to attack if the Rajah does not change his mind.
