The three women’s matches were all keenly contested, and a high standard of play was shown in all, Otago and Momona appeared in the early stages to be well matched, and, though the final score was 8 goals to 0 in favour of Otago, it did not appear at any time that the winning side was superior in such a degree to the losers. Kings and University played an excellent game, which became considerably better as it progressed.
