INDIAN HOCKEY TEAM
ITINERARY OF NEW ZEALAND TOUR TWO DUNEDIN MATCHES IN JULY [Per United Press Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, May 7. The New Zealand Hockey Association announces completion of the itinerary of the Indian hockey team selected by the Nawab of Manavadar, which is to tour New Zealand this season. The itinerary provides for 30 matches in a period of 11 weeksj during which all parts of the Dominion will be visited. The itinerary is:— Wednesday, June B.—Arrive Wellington. Saturday, June 11.—v. Wairarapa, at Masterton. . • Tuesday, June 14.—v. Bush Union, at Pahiatua. Wednesday, June 15.—v. Manawatu, at Palmerston North. Saturday, June 18.—v. Wanganui, at Wanganui. Tuesday, June 21.—v. North Taranaki, at New Plymouth. Thursday, June 23.—v. South Taranaki, at Eltham or Hawera. Saturday, June 25.—v. Wellington, at Wellington. Monday, June 27.—v. Nelson, at Nelson. Wednesday, June 29.—v. West Coast, at Greymouth Saturday, July 2.—v. Canterbury, at Christchurch. Tuesday, July s.—v. Ashburton, at Ashburton. Thursday, July 7.—v. Otago, at Dunedin. Saturday, July 9.—y. New Zealand Universities, at Dunedin. Monday, July 11.—v. North Otago, at Oamaru. Wednesday, July 13.—v. Eastern, at Gore. Saturday, July 16.—v. Southland, at Invercargill. ' Wednesday, July 20.—v. South Canterbury, at Timaru. Saturday, July 23.—First test, at Christchurch. Wednesday, July 27.—v. Feilding, at Feilding. Saturday, July 30.—Second test, at Wellington. Tuesday, August 2.—v. Dannevirke, at Dannevirke. Thursday, August 4.—v. Hawke’s Bay, at Napier. Saturday, August 6.—v. Poverty Bay, at Gisborne. Monday, August B.—v. Wairoa, at Wairoa. Tuesday to Friday.—Holiday at Rotorua. Saturday, August 13.—v. Auckland, at Auckland. Wednesday, August 17.—v. Whangarei, at Whangarei. Thursday, August 18.—v. Rodney, at Warkworth. Saturday, August 20.—v. Waikato, at Hamilton. Tuesday, August 23.—v. Waipa, at Te Awamutu. Saturday, August 27.—Third test, at Auckland. On Monday, August 29, the team sails from Auckland on the Awatea, arriving at Sydney on Thursday, September 1, for a short tour of New South Wales. It sails from Sydney by the Otranto on September 10, arriving at Colombo on September 29.
