The political correspondent of the Associated Press understands that an announcement of a comprehensive Anglo-Eire ’ agreement is imminent. This follows recent reports that the negotiations had collapsed. Coming on top of the Anglo-ltalian triumph, this will be another achievement for -JVIr Chamberlain, and, because of his personal supervision, efforts may be made to conclude a general agreement before Herr Hitler’s visit to Rome, which would have a profound .psychological effect in Europe.
