The opinion that the Otago Centre of the New Zealand Amateur Athletic Association has nothing to learn from Empire Games officials in the conducting of sports meetings was expressed by Mr A. It. Geddes, who represented New Zealand at tho Games, in the course of an address to athletes last evening at the Caledonian Grounds. “ There has been a lot of comment in the newspapers of the Dominion about the poor accommodation provided for the New Zealand athletes. As a matter of fact, we were very well catered for, and had nothing to be dissatisfied about,” said Mr T. Allen, another member of the team, who also spoke.
