(Received March 1, at 11 a.m.) Mr Glenn Martin, an aeroplane manufacturer,' is reported to be planning a super-bomber, carrying five 2,0001 b air mines 8,000 miles, and capable of destroying any battleship afloat. Mr Martin told the Naval Committee that the day was coming when 142-ton fighting planes would carry war to an enemy for a distance of 11,000 miles.
