THE COMPETITION FOR INTERESTING LETTERS
The five best among letters received are printed below. They are not answered in the ordinary way because they are really competition letters, and speak for themselves. Winners of the competition have their names printed on the honour post. Brother Bill congratulates both winners; they wrote very interesting letters indeed. Now here is another competition in letter writing. A prize of 2s 6d will be given to the best letter sent to Big Brother Bill on the subject of ‘ What I Like Best at School.’ Can you write an interesting letter about that subject? There is something good about everything—even the worst of things. Think of a very good thing about school and write a letter about it to Big Brother Bill. You may win the 2s 6d. A prize of 2s 6d will be given for the best letter written by the bairn under 10 years of age, and another prize of 2s 6d for the best letter from a 1 aim over 10 years of age. Be careful to write your age on the letter. Your name, address, and age should he written on top of the letter, and write only on one side of the sheet. Try this competition, and good luck to all.
