LEAGUE OF NATIONS UNION
LOYALTY TO COVENANT URGED. [Pes United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 25. Tbs following resolution has been passed by the Dominion Council of the New Zealand League of Nations’ Union, and a copy sent to the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage):— That the New Zealand League of Nations’ Union, being convinced that a improvement in international relations can be based only on principles of international co-operation as defined in the Covenant of the League, and believing that consistent support from the British Commonwealth of Nations is essential for building up a system ■of real collective security, calls upon the Government of New Zealand to reaffirm its loyalty to the principles of the covenant and urge upon its fellow Governments within the British Commonwealth of Nations the necessity of basing Imperial pglicy upon those principles.
