Left; Greatly facilitating the laying of rails, this new 10-ton railway crane was seen being used to advantage whilst relaying the permanent way at the Rattray street crossing yesterday. The old section of rail is removed complete with sleepers and the new section, which has been prepared beforehand, is dropped .into place.
