Foster, of Christchurch, has been appointed a member of the Medical Council. A ‘ Gazette ’ issued last night reports that Squadron-leader E. 6. Olson has been appointed temporary officer commanding the Royal New Zealand Air Force Station at Wigram. The Rev. K. D. Andrews-Baxter, who is taking charge of AU Saints’ parish during the absence of Archdeacon Whitehead in England, will commence his ministry on Sunday night by preaching at evensong. Mr and Mrs K. D. Andrews-Baxter will go into residence at All Saints vicarage on March 1. Lieutenant-colonel G. B. Parkinson, R.N.Z.A., officer commanding RoyalNew; Zealand Artillery, arrived by air yesterday afternoon and proceeded to Sutton where he inspected the ‘camps of the 10th and 14th Batteries. Reference to the death of Mr J. M.Sutherland was made by the president ‘ (Mr B. S. Irwin) of the Forbury Park Trotting Club at a meeting last night.. Mr Sutherland was one of the oldest' members, said Mr Irwin, being an active worker when the club held its meetings at Tahuna. A motion of sympathy was carried. A motion of sympathy with Mr A'.Clark on the death of his mother was passed at the monthly meeting of the Committee of the Forbury Park Trotting Club last night. Mr A. W.
