MR BAIRD'S EXPERIMENTS Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, February 24. (Received February 25, at 10 a.m.) Before embarking in the Strathaird for Australia, Mr J. L. Baird, the televisionist, announced that he will test throughout the voyage the_ “ magic eye ” which will enable navigators to see 30 miles through fog. Also he announced that he had recently been working on an aerial television set to enable a pilot to see the landscape 50 miles distant.
