—Ministerial.— , 'A visit to Featherston will be paid on Saturday by the Prime Minister, who will be the guest of Jaonour at a fcabour Party picnic. Mr -Savagewill: leave Wellington by motor car in the morning, and is expected to return in tho evening. He will leave Wellington again by the Limited express on Sunday evening for Auckland to represent the Government at the centennial of the Roman Catholic Church in New Zealand. The Prime Minister is expected to be back in Wellington on Wednesday morning for the second day of tho resumed session of the House of Representatives. Mr Justice Kennedy has returned from Invercargill, and will preside over a sitting of the Supreme Court to-mor-row. ; Mr A. Mis* Standage- is the daughter of Sir D* Standage, ’ manager of the Prudential; Assurance Company. At present sha is the secretary of Knox Church andis also a part-time teacher at Ross-f botham’s Commercial College. She is studying for the degree of bachelor of commerce at Otago University, bookkeeping being one of her subjects. Mis* Standage has had some experience in boarding school management. In her leisure hours she is keenly interested, in the Girl Guide movement, having held the positions of captain "of a company 4 and senior district captain. Mr J. J.
