OTAGO ASSOCIATION FORMED An Otago Baseball (Soft Ball)' Association was formed at a meeting held in the Y.M.C.A. Hall last night, and it was decided that this organisation be the provisional governing body of the Otago Centre. The mayor (Rev. E. T. Beecher, M. C. Wheeler, and At Lambert; secretary, Mr J. ; Jelleyi treasurer, Mr J. Shephard. It was announced that practices would be held every night at the OvhL Messrs Beecher, Wheeler, Lambert, and Blackmore being , appointed official coaches to ; the association. Mr J. H. Don Miller stated that hr would convene a meeting this week of Y.M.C.A. residents for the purpose of forming a baseball club. , DUNEDIN CLUB. At a meeting held at the Caledonian Ground it was decided that the name of the club that was formed at the end, of January be the Dunedin Baseball Club. Mr 0.
